Event Manager (LATAM) at Cloudbeds in Mexico, NY
As an Events Manager, you will plan, organize and execute high-impact events, trade shows, and virtual events according to requirements, target audience, and objectives with a focus on the LATAM region and especially Mexico. We're looking for a passionate hospitality or event professional to make these gatherings effective, cost-efficient, and most importantly, memorable. Mexico (Remote) What You Will Do:
Conceptualize, plan and execute conferences, trade shows, regional & local networking events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives in LATAM; Organize virtual events such as webinars and virtual conferences; Ensure strong presence and increase brand awareness of Cloudbeds in LATAM; Strengthen our network in the LATAM region. Research on new opportunities and competitors' engagement in relation to conferences, exhibits, associations, and events; Actively arrange Cloudbeds speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities related to industry events and industry associations; Serve as a liaison between departments, teams, and stakeholders; Prepare budgets, obtain approvals and ensure adherence; Create ROS and brief team members for all LATAM events; Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers; Coordinate travel and lodging for participants as needed; Coordinate shipping of event materials for all LATAM events. You'll Succeed With:
A Degree in public relations, communication, or hospitality; Minimum 3 years experience in Event Management; Exceptional Communication and Organizational skills; Good knowledge of the market and event industry in the whole LATAM region; Excellent Project Management track record; Good Social Media and Marketing skills; Tech-savvy keen to keep learning new technologies; A customer-service mindset; You care about creating meaningful experiences for stakeholders; A positive and outgoing attitude; Being a collaborative team player; A drive for results, clearly focussed on strategy execution; Business level Spanish and English fluency is mandatory - will be tested; Availability to travel 20% of the time. Brazilian Portuguese (conversational to business level) - will be tested if applicable; G Suite, Slack, Salesforce, and Asana/Trello/Wrike user.
